CHICKEN GRAVY (VILLAGE STYLE)

ITEMS NEEDED
Chicken-1/2kg
Onion-1nos
Tomato-1 nos
Garlic-4 cloves
Chilly powder-1 tbsp
Curry Leaves                           
Fennel Seed-1/4tspn
Sesame Oil-4 tbsp
Turmeric Powder-1/2tspn
Salt as needed
FOR MASALA (DRY FRY AND GRIND TO SMOOTH PASTE)
Fennel Seeds-2tbsp
Cumin Seed-2 tbsp
Black Peppercorn-1/2tbsp
Corainder Powder-4tbsp or more(depends upon gray u needed)

METHOD
First dry fry each one (fennel,cumin and pepper )separately except corainder pwdr,fry the corainder pwdr after u switch off the stove in the heated pan.now cool it and grind with few drops of water to smooth paste,marinate chicken with turmeric pwdr,grinded masala and 1 tbsp of sesame oil for half hourHeat a pan add fennel seed for tempering,add curry leaves,onion,garlic fry until raw smell goes,now add tomato and fry until cooked,now add the marinated chicken and cook,when it is half cooked add chilli pwdr and salt and cook until oil floats and chicken cookedserve with white rice.ideal for chappathi,idly and dosa.....
