IDLY MANCHURIAN(LEFTOVER)

left over idlies-6(i kept them in fridge,so they become hard for making manchurian)
marinate the idlies with 1/4 cup of buttermilk,1 tspn of chilli pwdr,1/4 tspn of turmeric pwdr and 1tspn of ginger garlic paste and keep them 15 mnts.







 
      onion-1 chopped
      tomato -1chopped
      green onions-2tbsp chopped
      capsicum-2tbsp chopped
      vegetables-1 cup(carrot,beans,peas and cauliflower)
       red chilli paste-1 tbsp or to taste(soak redchilli in hot water for 2 hrs and rind to     smooth paste with drops of water)
       dark soya sauce-1tspn
       tomato sauce-1tspn
       ginger and garlic -1tspn(not shown)

 

                                                                    
heat 2 tspn of oil in a pan and shallow fry the marinated idlies and keep aside.









heat 2tspn of oil in the same pan and add onion and ginger and garlic paste and fry until raw smell goes.







                                   
add all the vegetables and salt and cook them,don't overcook vegetables needs to be littlle crunchy.











when vegetables are half cooked,add chopped capsicum and give it a stir.










   add chopped tomato and give it a stir.







                                                        

now add red chilli sauce and mix it.










add soya sauce and mix.








add tomato sauce and give it a stir.










add the shallow fried idlies and green onions and mix well with the masala and remove from heat.









serve hot with onion raitha and enjoy.
